⟩⟩⟩ Tony Block’s Faux Skater
Tony Block’s Faux Skater (TBFS) is a purposefully obtuse, physics-based skateboarding video game released on both Mac and PC. The game tasks players with achieving high scores by busting sick, randomly-generated tricks across a two story map filled with crude ramps, half pipes and hazards. There’s also a bunch (50) coins scattered around the level in obnoxious places that are super hard to reach. Top it all off with a couple OG, 90s-inspired tunes and you’ll be living the N64 dream all over again.
Tony Block’s Faux Skater was “lovingly” coded and designed in-house with a ton of input and asset generation from our friends. Speaking of, we absolutely could not have made this game without the technical help, creative input and uninvited (but warranted) criticism of Tristan Wright, Joel Evans, Sean Gelwick, Dylan Drooger, Matt Branham, Nat Tracey-Miller, Scott Slucher, Nick Koelhke and Cait Cliff-Perbix.
