⟩⟩⟩ HomeMakers Bar Arcade Game
Kind of a Big Dill is a custom-made arcade game installation for HomeMakers Bar in downtown Cincinnati. This game is an endless runner where three players work together to run for as long as they can. The only catch is that all three players control the same character! It’s impossible to survive on your own; getting a high score requires teamwork and coordination - plus a little bit of yelling.
“Kind of a Big Dill originally ran from October 10th, 2019 through the 16th. It featured custom arcade controls, vinyl instructions and a turbo button (activated whenever guests ordered a special drink).”
Kind of a Big Dill was coded and designed in-house; all music, sprites, sounds, animations and logic were made specifically for HomeMakers Bar. Each of the three player-stations were custom built to spec by Joe Civitello. The vinyl instructions were produced by Decal Impressions. Our table tents were printed by Seemless Printing.
